Wealth Management Sales Director @ CAPTRUST

CAPTRUST is seeking a Wealth Management Sales Director to oversee and help lead sales and advisor development initiatives for the Wealth Advisor Group.  This position will report directly to the Head of Wealth Management Consulting at CAPTRUST.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and support wealth advisors as part of a team in delivering best-in-class advice and service beyond expectation to clients

  • Motivate and encourage sales team to ensure quality, growth and identify potential new markets

  • Develop and deepen relationships with external referral partners like Fidelity, Schwab and digital referral platforms

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and deliver on sales and advisor development strategies

  • Conduct presentations and educational outreach efforts, informing the public of financial services with a goal of attracting new clients and leads

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and within our community

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience at a wealth management or financial planning advisory firm

  • Experience leading and developing sales and consulting teams

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial principles

  • Excellent sales and customer service skills

  • Thorough understanding of financial services and how markets and economies affect those services

  • Ability to review, research, interpret, and discuss investment, financial, macroeconomic and security specific data with Senior Advisors and clients
