Human Resources Generalist
Our client, a well-established firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to assist with day-to-day departmental operations and duties including hiring, performance reviews, and benefits. The HR Generalist must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and have a self-starter attitude with at least one year of Human Resources experience.

Compensation: $60-65K (DOE)
Prior to starting, candidates will need to pass a background check.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain company files for all personnel
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to recruitment, training, grievances, and performance evaluations
Coordinate meetings, training, and surveys related to Human Resources
Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
Assist recruiters with sourcing candidates and updating ATS details
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
1+ years of experience in a Human Resources management role
1-2 years of benefits administration and/or recruitment experience preferred
SHRM-CP is a plus
Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Able to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines and delegate when appropriate
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
