RISE Program – Leadership Development for Early-Career Social Impact Professionals
The Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP) is now accepting applications for the RISE Program, a nationally recognized leadership development program for early-career professionals working in the nonprofit, public, and social impact sectors.
Designed for professionals with approximately five or fewer years of work experience, RISE equips emerging leaders with the skills, confidence, and network needed to accelerate their careers while advancing equity and creating lasting community impact.
Participants receive:
Leadership and professional development through interactive virtual seminars from September to January 2026 approximately every 3 weeks for a total of 8 sessions.
Mentorship from experienced social impact leaders
A national network of peers and alumni Practical knowledge of nonprofit leadership, governance, and finance
Career coaching, peer learning, and opportunities to build social capital
The program is delivered virtually and welcomes applicants from across the United States.
Ideal candidates include:
Early-career professionals currently working in nonprofit, public, philanthropy, education, healthcare, advocacy, community organizing, or other mission-driven organizations
Individuals passionate about social change and advancing equity
Professionals seeking to strengthen their leadership skills, expand their professional network, and increase their impact
Tuition is fully covered thanks to the generosity of INP's funding partners, making participation available at no cost to accepted applicants.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with priority consideration for upcoming cohorts.
