Network and make new friends on a boat! It's our monthly After 5 Social, where Young Professionals in Boston do their social networking after leaving the office. This month the Spirit of Boston is hosting us, and we couldn't be more excited.
Buffet Dinner and entertainment is included in your ticket!
Boat starts boarding at 6pm, we cruise from 7pm until 9pm. BostonYPA will have a full deck reserved just for us as a private party (where you will find your included dinner) to network, but we will have access to the outdoor patios to enjoy and the top deck for entertainment. That means music and dancing, outdoor games like corn hole, and new friends to mix and mingle with. The night is yours to watch the views, mingle with new friends and professional contacts, enjoy your favorite beverage, or dance the night away. You can stay and mingle on the enclosed deck to network there, or come up to the roof deck and dance away while enjoying the sea breeze.
Buffet Dinner is includes two salad options, 3 entree options, side dishes of vegetables, potatoes and pasta, fruit and deserts.
Member's guests can purchase an advance ticket here for $35. Remaining tickets will be available at 6pm at the dock for $40 cash. (The amount of remaining tickets will be posted on Eventbrite and Facebook, and will be sold first come, first served.) Tickets for the Spirit of Boston's dinner cruise typically sell for over $70. We've put together a great event for you, at a significant discount, so don't miss the boat!
Free Member Tickets: 2/3 of the tickets are reserved for paid members of BostonYPA until August 12th, at which point they will be available for non members to purchase. If you are an official member, current on dues, email events@bostonypa.com after July 30th to request a ticket and you will be registered. Confirmation will come from Eventbrite. Please do not reserve a ticket for yourself until you know you can attend - the boat has a capacity, and you will potentially be blocking another member from attending. Please arrive on the dock by 6:30, otherwise the member waitlist may be accomodated. Thank you!
To pick up your boarding pass: BYPA will be on the dock at 5:45pm with a list of BUYER's names. The BUYER of the tickets will sign for the prepurchased tickets and be handed boarding passes for each ticket purchased. Once our Leadership Team needs to board the boat, unclaimed boarding passes will be left at the Spirit of Boston ticket window.
Important: The boat leaves at 7pm. Please aim to arrive at 6pm and enjoy your first cocktail while docked, or plan your transportation to the boat carefully. We don't want you to (literally) miss the boat!
Alcoholic beverages and soda are NOT included in the dinner or the cost of the ticket. This event is 21+, Spirit of Boston Staff will be checking IDs.
