Talent & Culture Associate
Our client, a start-up incubator based in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Talent & Culture Associate to support the overall operations of the People and Culture department. Reporting to the department Director, the individual in this position will primarily assist with recruiting and onboarding and will have opportunities to be involved in culture-focused programs and policies as well.
This position offers a uniquely flexible work schedule that is remote except for one day a week at any of their three offices, located in Cambridge, MA; Dallas, TX; and San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
Assist with sourcing and recruiting for all levels of positions
Develop talent acquisition strategies informed by current market and internal operational needs
Coordinate onboarding processes and background checks and ensure all are completed in a timely manner
Work alongside Hiring Manager and other departments to facilitate onboarding
Support design and implementation of a progressive people strategy, initiatives, and projects
Ensure compliance of company policies and practices with all applicable employment laws and procedures
Contribute to culture and personnel-related procedures including leadership initiatives, workforce planning, and inclusion and diversity
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
2+ years of professional experience, ideally in an HR-related operations management role
Must have a professional demeanor and positive attitude
Must be self-motivated and both highly organized and adaptable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
